Michter's small-batch bourbon is named after a former oldest distillery in the US, and aged 4-6 years in small batch barrels. A magnificent whiskey! Batch Number L21J2815
This American whiskey from Michter's Distiller in Louisville, Kentucky, is matured in barrels which had previously held bourbon. As such, this expression cannot be called bourbon, as bourbon needs to be matured in new American oak barrels - hence why it's called whiskey instead. Slightly confusing legal nomenclature aside, it's bloomin' marvelous!
10 year old single barrel bourbon from the Michter's Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. A brilliant expression, simply put, this is top quality bourbon.
Featuring the image of Basil Hayden, distilled in 1960 and bottled in bond for export by National Distillers at Old Grand-dad distillery in 1965. As an export product, this was allowed to be filled at a lower 86 US proof, rather than the domestic requirement of 100 proof set out by the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897.
