A smokier expression of already rather smoky Black Grouse, the Black Grouse Alpha has more yummy peated malt in its blend. Rich with plenty of sherried notes and brilliantly warming. A noble-looking black grouse, or Tetrao tetrix, adorns the bottle, and no, thats not where a certain block stacking game got its name from. The Black Grouse follows the original Famous Grouse recipe with the addition of more smokier, peatier malts, the Alpha Edition has more of these malts - It's a 'suped up Black Grouse'. The Black Grouse Alpha Edition is a smokier version of the already Smokey Black Grouse.
