This Mannochmore 18 year old single malt Speyside Scotch whisky formed part of Diageo's 2009 Special Releases. This unique expression of Mannochmore has been assembled from a combination of reconditioned bodega European Oak, bourbon casks, and new American Oak casks. It was distilled in 1990 and aged for 18 years in mix of re-charred ex-sherry bodega European Oak with re-charred ex-Bourbon and new American Oak casks that had also held sherry, filled in 1993 after a short initial ageing in normal refill cask and then bottled at its natural cask strength of 54.9% ABV.
