This is the seventh release of The Whiskymakers Reserve from the Lakes distillery; it was matured in ex-Pedro Ximenez and ex-oloroso sherry casks, as well as ex-red wine casks. Aromas of plump apricot, baked bread and raisin fill the nose, leading to notes of milk chocolate, clove and cinnamon on the palate.
